Lavern Mclendon holds a BS in Psychology, an MBA in Business Administration and is also a certified Life Coach and Human Behavior Consultant. She is a proactive, performance-driven professional with 25+ years’ progressive experience and expertise in leadership,
problem solving for small for-profit businesses, nonprofits, and start-up operations. Excellent understanding of business priorities. Team player committed to training, consulting, operations, marketing, research, and project management while contributing to revenue-producing activities.
As the President of Morgan Bay Healthcare Providers youth group homes consultancy division, her focus includes writing policies and procedures, conducting client on-site walkthroughs in preparation for State inspections. Additionally, Lavern performs consulting, and training clients throughout the United States to start and operate licensed residential youth group homes, ILP, TLP, Second Chance homes, and Personal Care Home agencies.
Her responsibilities also include overseeing and managing research projects, compliance, relational sales, and strategic marketing.
Lavern possesses strong skills with hands-on project and program management, event planning, business development, training in small or large groups, financial management and technical writing skills.
